Stardust Road: London Cast Announced!
Back in May the Stardust Road creative team spent a week in London auditioning over one hundred performers, singing and dancing their hearts out, for the seven roles (plus two swing roles) in the show. After hours of auditions, we found our dream cast, and then eagerly awaited their, and their agents', responses. We are proud to introduce you to our talented cast, each one of which was on our "A-list". Joining us for the fall 2015 production of Stardust Road is:
Joe Aaron Reid is very excited to be making his London acting debut with Stardust Road. Having recently moved from New York City, he is thrilled to already be gracing the stage of the prestigious St. James. Joe began his acting training at a very young age, which lead him to many performances and competitions, both domestically and internationally. He received his BFA in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College, in which he was also able to study abroad in London, where his love affair with the city began. Most recently, Joe assumed the role of Stephen, opposite Idina Menzel, in the Broadway musical If/Then, after originating the role(s) of Scott & others. His other Broadway credits include u/s Willie Lopez in Ghost The Musical (OBC), Catch Me If You Can (OBC), u/s Howard in Finian’s Rainbow (OBRC), Fred Casely in Chicago, and Ronnie Driscoll in Curtains (OBC). His Off-Broadway credits include Daniel in Once On This Island (Lucille Lortel), The Tin Pan Alley Rag (Roundabout/Laura Pels), Howard in Finian’s Rainbow (Encores), Man #1 in Why We Tell The Story (Lucille Lortel), Kismet (Encores) and Joe in Lines (TBG). His US Regional credits include Gabey in On The Town (5th Avenue), Gymnasia in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum (Williamstown Theatre Festival), u/s Coalhouse in Ragtime (Paper Mill Playhouse), Munkustrap in Cats (Northern Stage), Camelot (North Shore Music Theatre, Boston), Beauty and the Beast (Les Places des Artes, Montreal & Lyric, Baltimore), as well as the world premieres of both If/Then (National, DC) and Curtains (Ahmanson) He also had the pleasure of performing Internationally as Scranton Slim in Guys and Dolls (MIMF, Macau, China). In addition to the shows he has performed onstage in, Joe was also an integral part in the creation of characters in the Broadway shows Lysistrata Jones and Legally Blonde. On television, Joe can be seen as Mark in HULU's It Could be Worse, and as a member of the Bombshell ensemble (Sid) in both seasons of NBC’s prime time musical hit, SMASH. Other television credits include The Tony Awards, The Today Show, The David Letterman Show and Live! with Regis and Kelly, and his voice can be heard on the pilot of ABC Family’s Bunheads. You can also hear his voice on the OBC recordings of If/Then, Catch Me If You Can, Finian’s Rainbow and Curtains. Joe is represented theatrically by James Beresford, and voice over by Fran Chance, at Sheperd Management. In the US, Joe is represented by Vincent Palumbo at VGP Artist Management. Love to F,A,D.

ROHAN PINNOCK-HAMILTON began his training at the Audrey Spencer Dance Academy and at the Scala Performing Arts Academy. As a young actor Rohan was a series regular in Children’s Ward (Granada TV) and as a young dancer won the title of North England Tap Champion. He then went on to train at The Urdang Academy in London. Since Graduating he has appeared in Mary Poppins (National Tour); Somebody's Son (Library Theatre, Manchester); Hairspray (West End); Riverdance (International Tour); Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat (National Tour); Hair (Munich); Some Like It Hip-Hop (West End & National Tour); and The Scottsboro Boys (Young Vic & West End). He has also appeared as a backing dancer for recording artists such as Beverly Knight, Lemar and Kanye West.

As you can see, this is truly a wonderful looking and talented cast. Our five week rehearsal period starts on September 21st, in preparation for our October 30th opening. We look forward to sharing Stardust Road with you in the fall at London's St. James Theatre.
