Here are some of the great reviews Ms Lennox received:
"Lennox is at her best when she sounds most involved, and her beautiful take[s] on "Georgia on My Mind" ... are full of poignancy and longing"
-David Simpson in The Guardian
"Lennox tempers her immense vocal power in order to maximize nuance ... in Carmichael's The Nearness of You she flirts coyly ... There is no trace of cabaret: Nostalgia is one of the most sincerest renderings of a collection of mid-20th century classics by a living artist. It is a pleasure to listen to"
- K.Y.W. in The Economist
"Lennox sinks her teeth into the unabashed romance of Memphis in June, followed by Georgia on My Mind"
- James Reed in The Boston Globe
"Lennox brings a stately grace to ... Hoagy Carmichael's Georgia on My Mind, a slow-moving ballad illuminated by a soulful church organ.
Lennox excels, too, on a clutch of sweet love songs, including ...
the evergreen The Nearness of You"
- Adrian Thrills in the Daily Mail
